Mumbai: Remember to reopen all religious places in Maharashtra from October 7, all the tight Covid-19 protocols will be followed, said Kishori Pednekar, Mumbai Mayor on Friday.
“Religious places must be reopened one day.
Nothing can stop it.
Now, we must be more careful about the Covid-19 protocol,” said Pednekar.
“This decision was taken after maintaining the Covid-19 situation at this time in Maharashtra’s mind,” he added.
Further pednekar said that the right sanitization will be given and social distance will be maintained in all religious places.
Regarding the reopening of schools for eighth to twelve classes in Mumbai, Pednekar said that the state government plans to provide vaccination to students under the age of 18.
“All safety steps and all Covid-19 protocols will be followed so that the third wave of Covid-19 can be avoided , “said Pednekar.
