Chandrapur: Pandemonium broke out at the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation (CMC) general body meeting after the Congress and MNS Canporators along with their supporters raised at home on Thursday afternoon.
Mayor Rakhi Kancharlawar, Deputy Mayor Rahul Pawde, Chairman of the Ravi Aswani Ravi Committee along with group leaders from various parties and CMC officials present during the GB meeting held at Heria Hall of CMC.
All corporators should join meetings.
However, Congress Corprolator Nandu Nagarkar and MNS Corporator Sachin Bhoyar broke through while stemming agitation outside the CMC building over some problems.
Videos that became viral on social media showed Nagarkar held a large banner and hit the table in front of the Mayor while shouting his demands.
When Nagarkar did not even succumbed even after appealing from the mayor for defending peace and leaving home, Aswani came down from Dais and almost inhabitating the Congress Corporator.
Leaders of different party groups and marshals must intervene to prevent the situation to change worse.
MNS activists also look shouted slogans.
The mayor must suspend a meeting for half an hour.
Then, he suspended Nagarkar from home and directed the Commissioner to take legal action against MNS and Corproators Congress to forcibly entering the house and violated the Covid protocol.
Kancharlawar also filed a complaint of the police against Nagarkar.
