Bedi Kabir: Sardom Newfound Salman Khan changed Sunil Dutt and I to the background of the music in ‘Khat’ -Exclusive!

The producer then revealed that they would also throw new actors and actresses to sing several songs.
The producer asked for recommendations from Bedi.
He remembered, “I heard Salim Khan’s son Salman Khan had started acting and he gathered a sufficient reputation.
So that’s how they signed Salman and he just started his career.”

He further added, “Bollywood films at that time were mainly shot in a kind of installment plan.
You know, they will shoot a few days every month and it will continue for about two years to make films.
And while shooting for ‘kurning’ happened, four Salman films were released and became supernhit.
Immediately, scenes in our film were converted into a love story, and Saab Dutt and I became background music.
“Needless to say, the audience was left involved with Bedi candidate reception.
Directed by Deepak Bahry, ‘Curbery’ featured Salman Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Sunil Dutt and Kabir Bedi.
The film, which was released on May 31, 1991, marked Ayesha’s debut as a leading woman.
