Nagpur: Applicants for four-wheeled driving licenses can immediately check their driving skills on the simulator.
Thanks to the Maharashtra transportation department, the three regional transportation offices – Kota, East RTO representative and Ro Ro – will receive two simulators going for the final driving test.
Simulator will help license seekers to evaluate their driving skills before appearing for the final steering wheel, round and speed limit.
Training will also be useful for applicants to learn how they have to drive on different roads, timings such as peak hours and about pedestrian movements among other important road safety aspects.
Of the three RTOS, 13 more offices in the state will get two simulators each.
Similarly, 33 offices including Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Yavatmal, Bhandara and Gondia will get one simulator each.
This department is the procurement of 65 simulators of a Hyderabad company at a cost of RS3.90 Crore.manwar has been asked to identify a place for installation simulators in their respective offices.
The simulator will operate within two months.
