Noida: The team from the Noida Authority will spread on the streets to oversee cleanliness in the city.
That step, said the source, was aimed at increasing the rank of Noida in the Swachh survey for this year.
As part of the drive, the team from the Ministry of Health Public Works will examine the community and public toilets, Block Urino, separate waste disposal, bulk waste generators and waste treatment plants (STP).
Noida, who was ranked fourth in the country among the cities with a population of less than 10 lakh last year, tried to increase by 2022.
The team that will conduct a sanitation survey in the city will submit a report to the CEO of Authority, Ritu Maheshwari.
The team will only check five places a day.
“They will check the level of cleanliness of these toilets, mirror conditions, water supply, lights, trash cans, sanitary napkin vending machines and other important points,” said an official.
Field visits will be maintained.
Regardless of ordinary sanitation in the toilet, the team will examine mass waste generators to examine separate dry and wet waste disposal along with their STPS operations and conditions.
“The team will also identify places in villages and cities that trash are thrown to the open.
The team will also check one main road and drain every day,” the official said.
Street cleaning, which will begin from Saturday, is now expected to start from Monday in sector 6, 7, 8 and so on.
Until now, the cleaning of sectors and villages is being carried out from 7am to 3pm.
From Monday and so on, the streets are expected to be cleaned in two shifts from 7am to 11am and from 15:00 to 19:00.
