KOLKATA: Residents of this town’s low-lying pockets especially the additional places like Behala and neighbourhoods found off Eastern Metropolitan Bypass continued to have problems with inundation on Friday as storm water from such pockets could not be emptied out after 72 hours.
Worse, to get a portion of Behala residents that needed to move from the homes and took refuge in kin’s location as storm water that had entered their mattress rooms or rooms of the ground floor apartments or standalone buildings couldn’t be emptied out.
