Agra: Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) The former carrier of Vinay Varshney’s office, an underbident nested in prison for the murder of Mohammad Tariq during a broken clash between the anti-CAA protesters and police in the Babri area of Aligarh in February 2020, filed its nominating paper, through relatives , as an independent candidate from Aligarh (city) on Friday.
Vinay will take the candidate of BJP Mukta Raja, wife sitting Mla Sanjeev Raja, who was punished by the Aligarh court for attacking a police officer in the 22-year-old case and then a guarantee was given.
Other candidates from the Constituency of Aligarh (City) are – Congress Mohammad Salman Imtiaz, who is the former President of the Union of AMU Students, former Jamjwadi Party, Zafar Alam and BSP Raids Khan.
Varshney’s brother, Ashwani, who was present at the time of submitting a nomination, said, “The Youth of Aligarh with my brother and we will all struggle to choose him.” On February 23, Tariq (22), stood on the porch of his house, when the bullet who lost firmly during the violence hit him in the stomach.
He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he gave up on his injuries while undergoing treatment on March 12.
Vinay was arrested on charges of efforts to kill and after Tariq’s death, the accusation turned into murder.
The police have restored weapons used for crime and are listed in Vinay’s name.
Last year, the Aligarh Court defeated him and sent him to the judge’s detention in a jail, where he was currently nesting.
