And we were mostly successful in that effort.
Osama bin Laden was taken to court 10 years ago, and Al Qaeda, in terms of his capacity to do that again from Afghanistan, it was very reduced.
Now 20 years, one trillion dollars later and more than 4,500 American soldiers who have lost their lives.
Afghanistan finally must be able to form his own future.
But with our support.
Even when we pull our troops, we live very involved in Afghanistan, with the embassy, with programs to support women and girls, economic development, humanitarian aid, and security forces.
We remain very engaged too, with our diplomacy, because the only resolution for conflict in Afghanistan is on the negotiation table, not on the battlefield.
Pakistan continues to support the Taliban …
Pakistan has a vital role to be played by using its influence with the Taliban, to do anything to ensure that the Taliban did not try to take the country by force.
When do we expect President’s visit? I can’t give a date on it.
But I know that President Biden will be very looking forward to visiting India, and also has mode prime minister in the United States.
But there is no date.
India may receive the delivery of the S-400 missile system from Russia later this year.
How will it have an impact on our Indian bond? Well, we have our law, we will apply our law.
We share our worries with India about this.
But I will not advance from myself.
