Four of infected people are employees of cold storage companies in the Fangshan district.
The fifth, who lives with one of the employees, also works in the cold storage industry, Liu Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of Beijing’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention, (DCP) told the press conference here.

All cases have been transferred to hospital designated for medical treatment, he said.
The city that strengthened to host the winter Olympics starting on February 4 report the first case of the Omicron variant on January 16 which encourages health officials to increase testing and search.
