Belarus leader is ready to invite Russian forces ‘if necessary’

Kyiv, Ukraine: Belarus authoritarian President said Friday he was ready to invite Russian forces to the country, if such a step was needed to ensure Belarus and Russian security.
But, President Alexander Lukashenko said, at this time “totally unnecessary” to do that.
In the comments brought by the government’s news agency managed by the government, Lukashenko stressed that he had dealt with last year’s antigement protests without involving other countries’ armed forces , but added that he would not hesitate to bring Russian forces if necessary.
Belarus can quickly call to arm 500,000 personnel themselves, but “if not enough, all Russian armed forces will be taken in, ‘” said Lukashenko, according to Belta.
“If Need, we will not hesitate.
“Russian and Belarus have closed military and defense bonds.
Two Russar Radar stations provide communication with nuclear submarines in the Atlantic, India and the Pacific parts based in Belarus.
In September, the two former Soviet countries were scheduled to do large-scale military exercises.
Until recently, Belarus rejected Russian efforts to expand his military presence there and refused Moscow’s request to open airbase and additional troops in the country.
But the political crisis opened in Belarus after re-election Lukashenko in the sixth of August 2020, Russia promised its neighbor’s military support and allocated $ 1.5 billion loans for Belarus.
Lukashenko faced the protest months triggered by the winner of August August 2020 votes that the opposition and the West saw as a cheat.
He responded to a demonstration with a hard action that saw more than 35,000 TED arres and thousands of people were beaten by the police.
The United States and the European Union have imposed several sanctions targeting Belarusian leadership and the main sectors of the economy after the crisis.
Lukashenko accused the west of efforts to regulate the revolution in the country and plan a coup, including by pressing the country with sanctions.
“They seem to look for our spots.
They reached mainly the exports of Belarusia’s Economy: Petrochemical, Mechanical Engineering, Potash, and so on.
But the main goal is to leave people without retirement, salaries, benefits, education , Medical care and cause dissatisfaction between Belarus, “Lukashenko said.
