Akshay Kumar Cannon Release, ‘Bell Bottom’ is on his way to become the best-selling film this year until now.
According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the film gets around 75 lakh on the second Friday, so it takes a total collection for estimated RS 19.50 Crore Nett.
With this, the film is only a little crores surpassing a lifetime collection of JasaHvi Kapoor’s Horror-Comedy ‘Roohi’ which was released earlier this year, before the theater was closed again because of the second wave of Covid-19.
‘Bell Bottom’ saw a decrease in collection, which was expected when the film began to slope down on Tuesday.
It also faces competition from the new release ‘Chehre’ which starred in Amitabh Bachchan and Hashmi Emraan in the main role.
However, Akshay Starrer, managed to defend it in Gujarat and Saurashtra where it was quite steady.
However, the whole country, see a drop in the range of 75%.
Even though the number is low and the theater currently runs at a capacity of 50%, the report shows that weekend will see growth numbers.
However, it still has to be seen how big the collection increases.
Directed by Ranjit Tewari, Akshay Kumar Essay the main role in this spy thriller.
‘Bell Bottom’ which also features Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in an important role, is the first Bollywood film that was fully shot during locking.
The film was previously scheduled for release in April but was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
