Bellagavi records the lowest temp

Beleagavi: Cold waves have gripped the parts of North Carnataka because Mercury in several districts fell below 12 degrees Celsius.
The Border District Border has recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 8.6 degrees Celsius.
Cold weather in Bellagavi continues even during the day with people wearing skull hats, scarves, and sweaters while outside.
In early hours, the inhabitants sat around the fire for heat, while the city was filled with thick fog.
In the city, the temperature is 10.5 degrees C and the lowest recorded at Beleagavi Airport in Sambra, about 18 km from here.
The data is sourced from the Meteorology Department of India (IMD).
The temperature in the Belaghiavi-Athani-Kagwad was 9.9 degrees C at 7 am on Wednesday, while it was 10.7 degrees C in Bellagavi-Bailhongal 7 and 11.8 degrees in Athani-Anantapur.
According to IMD officials, so far 8.6 is the lowest minimum temperature recorded in this winter state.
However, the lowest temperature of the record of all time in the district was 6.4 degrees Celsius in 1984.
The cold weather is likely to continue for almost a week according to the estimated IMD.
Manoj Ranjan, Director, Natural Disaster Monitoring Center for the state of Karnataka, said that the northwestern winds of the northwest blowing over the dharwad and the surrounding area, the district recorded a low temperature.
The wind blew in these areas because it went through the northern interior of Karnataka and Maharashtra Tengah.
However, when compared to a normal minimum temperature scenario that is common and even in previous years, a single minimum digit temperature is recorded in the Batawayavi.
Dharwad has recorded a temperature of 11.1, Gadag, 12.7, Bagalkot, 11.4 and Hampi 14.5 degrees C.
But East Regency has recorded higher than normal temperatures due to cloudy weather.
The temperature in Bidar, which usually records the lowest in the state, is 18 degrees and 16.4 c in Raichur 16.4 and 18.6 C in Kalaburagi.
H Sadandada Adiga, a meteorologist at the IMD told TI that the temperature in the Besavav could be further in the coming days.
He said because the western western wind of the district staggered in cold conditions.
G Srinivas Reddy, a senior consultant, the Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) said that the cold waves starting from the northern part of India had a big impact on the BELIGAVI because the temperature had been dipped.
