Barasat: Eight-year-old boy was beaten to death in Sashan in North Korea 24 Parmaras on Friday.
The police on Saturday arrested a Trinamool activist, Abdul Ajij Siddique, to lead a horde who allegedly left the boy because he was suspected of stealing fish from Bhti-Belaghata.
Trinamool Mesh President Meetab Hossain said, “The law will take its own way.
If he is found guilty, he must be punished firmly.” The boy, Sahadmani Mondal, a resident of Uttar Falti, played with other people near Bheri.

The defendant who used to guard Bheri arrested Sahadmani at suspicion just stealing fish.
He began to beat him with other people,” said Arjina Bibi, Bibi Boy.
The locals accused Abdul took the boy to the club and placed him in a gunny sack and then, released him.
“At home again, my son fainted.
Then, he told us what had happened and we found out about torture,” said Piyar Ali, the boy’s father.
The boy was taken to the Barasat district hospital and then shifted to RG Kar, where he died on Friday night.
“Abdul was arrested and ordered for murder,” said a senior police officer.
