Bengal: CO2 leak on Jalan Raya Sparks Panic in Burdwan

Burdwan: leaked carbon dioxide from a tanker at the NH-2 triggered panic in the East Burdwan East Telecur area on Friday.
Some people complained about mild respiratory problems, but there was no medical emergency that was compounded until the police and firefighters brought the situation under control.
Around 5 in the morning, clouds like a white mist covered by CarrieGeway and carrying traffic to the grinding cessation in Durgapur Expressway.
According to the police, the valve in a tanker carrying liquid carbon dioxide from plants in Lucknow to a drink plant in Danankuni developed obstacles, leading carbon dioxide in the form of liquid from the cryogenic container.
Traffic police immediately closed NH-2 and also the Burdwan-Arambag route.
The leak was plugged into after 30 minutes by a tanker driver, police and firefighters.
Tanker was then shifted to safety before the traffic continued on the highway.
