Bengal: Ganga Brids Flood 30 Villages in the Malda District

Malda: At least 30 villages in the Malda district were flooded on Thursday night after a violation at Ganga Dyke.
The river has crossed the level of extreme danger (EDL), and more damage was feared.
The district government has canceled the leave of all the employees of the Block and Irrigation Department in the middle of an inadequate aid accusation.
Over the past few days, Ganga, Fulohar and Mahananda were riding due to heavy rains in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Ganga crossed EDL on Thursday and was at a 25.5 meter level in Manikchak on Friday morning.
Unprotected areas in Bilamari, Mahanandatola and Bhutni have been flooded.
Thursday night, the Dyke Ganga was violated in Hiranandapur, resulting in cracks at 50 million embankments.
Water flows to Ratua and Manikchak blocks, with more than 500 families from the last influenced.
People are being transferred to safer places while repairs begin immediately in the middle of the allegations of a little help from the administration.
Member of Gram Panchayet Pradip Mandal said: “We have received some too few tarps to meet the request.” Meanwhile, erosion play chaos in Kaliakak-3 blocks.
Hundreds of families in Birnagar, in the boundaries of the Baishnabnagar police station, have lost their homes.
The assistance center arranged in local schools failed to provide protection for all.
Many have to spend the night on the road under tarpaulin.
Rajarshi District Judge Mitra said the maroon people were being shifted into employee safety and leave had been canceled.
