Bengal Homps Protest Test Price Cap, to meet the panel today

Kolkata: The West Bengal Clinical Formation Regulatory Commission (WBCERC) has held an online meeting with a private hospital on Thursday after the last one to appeal to the clarification commission on the capping tariff for five Tesologists and 15 pathological tests.
The panel limits costs on July 2 for a private hospital with 150 sanctions and on it.
The hospital has not yet introduced allegations closed when they await the Commission’s response to their appeal.
“We will hold an online meeting with a private hospital on Thursday because some of them urge us to hear accusations closed,” said WBCERC Chairman of Justice (retirees) Ashim Kumar Banerjee.
After order 2 July, the Association of East Indian Hospital (AHEI) wrote to the panel, looking for clarification on how prices were calculated.
The association also looks for clarification of why this restriction applies to only hospitals that are accredited by Nabh with 150 and on the bed.
“Running the Accredited Nabh Laboratory requires quality equipment, reagents and workforce and 24×7 services.
I hope the commission will hear us and reconsider charges.
It is impossible to maintain quality control measures at such levels,” said the CEO of a private hospital.
According to the Commission, he has received many complaints about the high levels charged by hospitals to conduct investigations during the pandemic, especially for Covid-19 patients.
The health panel then consulted with two expert committees before improving the test level.
Capped costs apply to non-covid patients and only those who use cash care in hospitals.
During pandemics, accusations for people like RT-PCR tests, PPE kits, doctors and beds have been restricted in private hospitals.
Thus regardless of mandatory discounts for drugs and consumables for covid patients.
Murmur dissatisfaction followed after the health panel passed the latest price capping order.
The nineteen main company hospital, which formed AHEI, decided to take problems with WBCERC.
“We do not understand why this discriminatory approach to hospitals with 150 beds and more.
How can we introduce new technology, sophisticated gadgets in such situations? But we expect commissions to hear our parties and produce positive results that will not hurt interest We, “said Head of Other Company Hospital.
However, the commission did not make decisions about revising a limited level.
A call tends to be taken after a Thursday meeting.
“Let us hear what the private hospital said before we made a decision,” said the chairman of the panel.
The hospital also hopes the Commission will consider their higher operating costs compared to the diagnostic center and increased inflation.
