Bengal: Itís, Polytechnic College is set to reopen

Kolkata: Kolektori Polytechnic and ITIS will open three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, marking the resumption of formal campus in Bengal.
Students will be allowed to attend class and lab, follow all safety measures Covid.
Technical Education Department issued a notice to the start of classes offline, after the institute opened for physical classes on Thursdays and Fridays on a trial basis.
Polytechnic colleges will resume from next week.
Minister of Technical Education Humayun Kabir said, “These agencies provide skill-based training, which is difficult to be provided online.
So maintain all the protocols Covid, students can attend a physical classroom, which will be a practical lesson on alternate days.
For students in technical courses short term, the closure over the last year has had an impact on the deadline for the training and the courses they are.
Now the case Covid controlled and most students are over 18 years, a decision was taken to reopen the institute on alternate days.
“APC ROY Polytechnic College and the Institute of Printing Technology Regional to start classes on campus on Thursday.
APC Roy Principal Mrinmay Kanjilal said, “Students will attend a physical classroom in small groups.
We will continue the online and offline mode.”
