Kolkata: MP Burdwan East Sunil Mondal, who allegedly defected BJP from the Trinamool Congress last year, continued to send Ghar-Wapsi’s flavor when he joined the TMC parliament in protest over Pegasus’s problem at Lok Sabha on Monday.
MP has also urged the center to pull the security cover.
“I am with Trinamool and will remain with a party in the future.
I joined the Parties (TMC) colleagues against Pegasus Spyware at Lok Sabha today.
They (the government led by BJP in the middle) violate our personal space and it contradicts the Spirit Constitution.
We can’t let it happen, “said Mondal.
“This is a free country where each individual has the right to privacy.
There is no possibility of violations on it,” he added.
Rumors about the future of politics Mondal grew harder in the morning after parliamentary members wrote a letter to CRPF, looking for withdrawal of security details.
He said he was not in a position to maintain the security given to him by the Ministry of Home.
On December 19, 2020, Mondal was seen at a general meeting with the Minister of Home Department Amit Shah.
Trinamool MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, looking for disqualification mondal.
Bandyopadhyay said the leader did not submit his resignation, but his participation in the BJP rally was proof that he had submitted his Trinamool membership.
Mondal on Monday said the fact that he was seen with Shah was “not conclusive evidence” to prove that he had switched.
“There is a misunderstanding, and sudip-da want to know if I am still with TMC.
There are some emotional problems, but there is no confusion about my political position,” he said.
