Bengal post-poll violence: BJP welcomes the Calcutta High Court order on the CBI probe, TMC instructions in the court move higher

Kolkata: BJP on Thursday welcomed the Calcutta High Court order directing the CBI probe into cases such as murder and rape in alleged violence after the poll in West Bengal and imposing it as a “constitutional victory”.
The powerful Trinamool Congress in this country hinting for a higher court.
Welcoming orders, national BJP Secretary General and responsible for Bengal Kailash Vijayvargiya said “The incident of violence after the West Bengal poll occurred under the protection of the state and TMC government,” he said.
The BJP State President Dilip Ghosh said his verdict was a moral victory for victims of violence, including “the mother and sister who had been oppressed and seized by TMC and the West Bengal Government”.
“Today’s HC message for the CBI probe into violence after the poll in West Bengal is the victory of the Constitution,” he added.
BJP has accused of violence by TMC against his party workers and their families since after the April State Assembly poll.
According to TMC sources, the state government tends to move to a higher court challenging command by HC.
“The court has given an order.
We respect the judiciary.
But if the CBI is included in every law and the problem of order, which is fully in the jurisdiction of the state government, it is a violation of state rights.
I am sure the state government will do it look at the order and may make a decision Attract a higher court if necessary.
“Senior TMC Chairman and MP Sougata Roy said.
The General Secretary of the State of TMC Kunal Ghosh blamed BJP for inciting violence in the state.
“Before the vote, the BJP leaders have made a provocative statement like ‘We will kill you and you will not make people take the bodies to the crematorium’.

“HC orders cannot be opposed openly.

On Thursday, the Calcutta High Court ordered the CBI probe into painful cases such as murder and rape in alleged violence after the poll in West Bengal.
A five judge led by the acting chairman of the Judge Rajesh Bindal also ordered the formation of a special investigation team (sitting) to investigate all other violations related to alleged violence after the poll.
The bench said the court would monitor investigations and direct CBI and sit down to submit their reports within six weeks.
