Kolkata: Schools and colleges in West Bengal will be reopened for offline classes on November 16, in accordance with official notifications issued by the state government, a few days after the Minister of Mamata Banerjee chairman made an announcement.
Schools will be reopened for grade 9 to 12 students, according to notice issued by the school education department on Thursday night.

The headmaster Lady Kolkata College Brabourne Siuli Sarkar said, “We will decide on how to hold a class without student crowding.”
He said that part of the staff came to campus since July for official work and college regularly carried out sanitization activities.
A Hindu school spokesman said, “We are ready to reopen every time they are asked but we hope the situation of the pandemic will not deteriorate further to take back to one.”
He said the school had an online and offline system to do classes in place.
At the meeting in Siliguri on Monday, Chairman of the Minister of Banerjee said the school and college in the state would be reopened from November 16, after a gap of about 20 months, and directed the main secretary to facilitate the process.
