KOLKATA:”The West Bengal government will likely be appointing over 32,000 instructors to upper primary and first levels by March next year,” chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday.
“The consultation process to fill up at 14,000 deductions at the upper main level (courses 5-8) and 10,500 at the principal degree (classes 1-4) will soon be finished prior to the Durga Puja at October.
Approximately 7,500 more articles for primary teachers would soon be filled with March 2022,” Banerjee said.
“Thus, approximately 32,000 educators will be appointed from following March.
This will certainly help our college instruction,” the CM said.
She stated that the appointments will be created on the basis of their merit list and no more lobbying is going to be required.
“People who’ve passed the assessments are entitled to the tasks.
The appointments were adhered due to court cases,” Banerjee said.
Even the Calcutta high court needed in February arranged an interim stay on the recruiting procedure for first teachers after petitions filed by project aspirants who alleged postings following their titles didn’t attribute on the merit record issued by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
The high court later led the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBCSSC) to make sure that deserving candidates aren’t left out and also the recruitment procedure is conducted .
The Calcutta High Court, that originally asked the Commission to release this meeting record May 10, had enabled them sometime in light of the continuing Covid pandemic.
The Teacher Qualification Evaluation (TET) for recruitment of teachers in upper primary schools had been held in August 2015 and the results have been announced in September 2016.
The outcome of the interview proved outside in August 2019.
Approximately five lakh applicants had seemed for the evaluations.
In December this past year, Banerjee had declared that 16,500 teachers could be appointed in the principal level.
