KOLKATA: CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday reported that Bengal will secure 22 lakh doses of vaccine in June in the nation’s own sources.
“We have, in our, guaranteed 18 lakh concentrations in May.
We’ve spent approximately Rs 114 crore to secure vaccines,” the CM said.
The state government had previously said it had put aside a Rs 100 crore finance to buy vaccines.
Banerjee included:”We’ve identified priority classes who associate with individuals more because of the character of their job.
We’ve been in a position to vaccinate 9 lakh these folks.
” The CM stated Bengal has vaccinated 1.
4 crore individuals and 1.
1 crore one of them have obtained their initial doses.
The remainder have obtained equally their doses.
Even the CM, who chaired a high level assembly in Nabanna, also stated the positivity rate comes down to about 18%-19% in the high of 33 percent in late April.
