Bengal: Women are held to strangle the baby girl to death

Midnapore: A woman in Uttarar Pingla Village was arrested on Saturday for allegedly strangling her 2 year old daughter to death with a pillow.
Puja Jana was arrested after complaints by the law of her father of Tapan Kumar Jana.
Toddlers Dipti were said to die when he was taken to Kharagpur Hospital.
The police said the mother had claimed to kill her child so she could marry her paramour Debashis Mondal, who was also arrested.
They have been slapped on charges of murder and conspiracy hatching.
The son’s father, who works as a mason in Andaman, has been told and asked to go home.
After the Puja told the neighbors that Dipti had died of choking, the villagers kissed a mouse and told the police.
Then, it is relatively too claiming that Puja has recognized his crime.
Mondal, however, said he had been framed because he was not connected with the murder at all.
