Bengaluru: Cannot tell the top police not to accuse the NAB, said the court

Bengaluru: Courts in Bengaluru refused to provide anticipatory guarantees to the elderly pair, who feared the case of cheating would be registered with them.
A 71-year-old businessman and his 68-year-old wife, both residents of Kalyan Nagar, near Banaswadi, approached the civil court and the 65th additional city session who seek anticipatory guarantee in the case of cheating they fearfully will be registered with them.
The couple made the city police commissioner as the second first respondent and Central Crime Branch.
The couple believes that a woman who claims to be a private company director has filed a complaint of cheating with the police recently.
The company was beaten by the corporate affairs ministry several years ago.
The couple claimed that the woman accused them of cheating and the police often called them by telephone and told them that they would register the case against them, remembering complaints.
However, the court, in the order of 30 September observed that there was no direction that could be published to the police commissioner not to arrest someone because the commissioner was not a person who would capture or arrest the defendant directly.
Giving such directions will be the same as order blankets, which will be dangerous.
Initially, the couple said the CCB police often called them and then put forward in a memo called the Banaswadi police to call them for an investigation.
But there is no ingredient to show a call that is often done.
“People who seek anticipatory guarantee must show a reasonable arrest
