Mativannan worked with a travel agent in Tiruppur.
“Mativannan went to town in the owner’s SUV to drop a few passengers.
On the way back, he crashed into a biker near Junction Marenahalli in Vijayanagar, killing riders in place.
Mativannan was arrested and blessed under the IPC 304a section (causing death due to negligence).
Thus , the local court punished him and sentenced him a simple one-year prison sentence and slapped the fine of RS 3,000.

In July this year, this problem arose during a review meeting and a police team led by Inspector Gy Giriraj visited Tiruppur.
