Bengaluru: Durga Puja idol must be less than 4 feet

Bengaluru: While the celebration season spread cheered, BBMP issued a guideline for those who celebrated Durga Puja.
Only one idol can be installed on each ward and they should not be more than 4 feet high.
Idols must be associated thoroughly before the installation.
The association that regulates Puja must ensure that no more than 50 people are permitted at the time of prayer, no more than 100 at a time during Darshan and a maximum of 10 members during the Boron or Visarjan debi.
All safety prevention measures, including mandatory thermal filtration and all visitors’ sanitization must be taken.
Bottles of sanitisers must be placed in various places in the venue.
Orders also declare chairs, tables and floors must be disanited at least four times a day and safety norms for Covid-19 must be displayed in that place.
Rudra Shankar Roy, one of the main organizers of the Bengaluru Durga Puja Committee, said, “We are really fine with guidelines.
We understand that it has done a bit and now we have to do a bit and manage a place with all precautions.
It is certainly Different but we understand why.
“The association must ensure the corresponding behavior of Covid at any time in the venue.
