Bengaluru: Entrepreneurs based in Tumakuru have approached the city police accuse that a man cheats him from RS18 Lakh with the pretext of getting his daughter’s job of a police sub-inspector.
Puturu R Puttaraju, 52, a resident of Urdigere Village, stated that his daughter P Inchara had cleared the physical test held for Pos SI on August 21 this year.
“A friend of mine, Krishnappa, a citizen of Yeshwantpur, told me that he knined one Srinivas, who deal with the work of the government, especially the police.
According to Krishnappa, the ‘fees’ sub-inspector around RS75 Lakh,” Puttaraju said.
Puttaraju spoke to Srinivas by telephone and the last convinced him to get a police job for his daughter.
Lawned by friendship, Srinivas told Puttaraju that it would cost RS75 Lakh.
After several bargaining, Srinivas agreed to RS 55 Lakh, Puttaraju stated in his complaint.
Puttaraju and Krishnappa came to the city with a down payment RS18 lakh money on October 4 and handed over the same to Srinivas in a hotel in New Beload.
“A normal friend we told us that Srinivas deceived people after promising government work and it was impossible to get a post by paying money.
Realizing that I had been cheated, I filed a complaint,” he said.
