Civic’s monsoon readiness was reviewed at a meeting carried out by Revenue Minister R Ashoka Monday night.
During the meeting, it was disclosed that the Civic body had identified 209 vulnerable spots throughout the city.

The BBMP Ward officers have been asked to check the streets of the environment and clog the shoulder channels, and take the steps needed.
“The shoulder and side should also have to be cleaned to control water on the streets,” said the Head of the BBMP Gaurav Gupta to Ti.
Monsoon was heard meeting, emphasized that the team and officers of the task force had to work all the time during the rainy season to ensure the city was not flooded.
All officers at the headquarters and at the level of constituency must ensure the right information reaches Bengalureans.
The officers were also ordered to identify and cut unstable trees so that they did not endanger the community during heavy rains.
“A team will be formed to overcome the problem of borgeing on the road during the rainy season.
When things like that happen, a heavy duty pump must be used to clean the area flooded.
