We were flooded with people who were contracted with dengue fever and upper breathing.” Waterlogging for the month -Bulan Monsun generally caused an increase in the case of dengue fever in previous years, said Dr.

“There is no surge in cases of dengue fever or flu,” said a BBMP medical officer.

We suggest that people be tested for Covid if and when fever or cold continues for more than one day.” Leptospirosis Bangerbesides, Fortis Hospital has seen four cases of leptospirosis, bacterial infections , in the past week.
Leptospirosis is spread mainly by contact with water or soil contaminated by urine infected animals, especially mice.

Two of the four patients have visited a farmhouse and doctors who care for them suspicious they may have consumed water that might have been contaminated by urine mice.
