Bengaluru: Inspector gets a guarantee after 40 days in prison

Bengaluru: Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act in Bengaluru has provided conditional guarantees to Raghavendra SR, then the police inspector with the Chikkajala police station, in a corruption case.

It also argues that Shivashankar has submitted a similar case against the previous inspector – Yeshwanth – from the same station and he has the habit of submitting false cases against the police.

Judge K Natarajan gave a conditional guarantee to Raghavendra on October 29.
Raghavendra was asked to execute a personal bond with the number of Rs 2 Lakh with two surets.
He was directed to not damage the witness prosecution directly or indirectly, did not enjoy similar violations, did not cause delays in the trial and emerged in the presence of an investigation officer every Monday between 10am and 4pm, for a period of three months or up to a time of chargesheet, which Early.
