Bengaluru: A 66-year-old man and his son – Both Bbmp Contractors – chasing two criminals who took bags with RS 3,000 cash and other valuables from their SUVs, and with the help of passing people, arresting them near Hebbal flyover on Sunday.
M Lakshminarayana, a contractor from Jalahalli, and his son, Ljan, in his 40s, was on his way to JC Road in Maruti Brezza.
Around 6:30 p.m., they entered the Road Ballari in Kodigehalli and were heading to the Hebbal flyover when they realized their car had a flat tire.
Lakshminarayana has saved cash bags, files related to contract work, check books, and other documents in the back seat and sit in the front passenger seat, while Anjan descends from the car to change tires.
After an hour or more, Anjan finished his work, washed his hands and entered the driver’s seat when two men stood on both sides of the front window.
Speaking in Hindi, they ask for routes to Kr Puram.
