Bengaluru: Men Inner Tenant Gift, Land in Soup

Bengaluru: A 42-year-old school teacher alleged that the owner discussed his inner clothes on his birthday and demanded that he put it and show it.
The woman went to the Hanumanthnagar police jurisdiction and filed a complaint against Padmanabha, the owner and resident of Srinagar, South Bengaluru.
The woman told police that she had lived in a rented house owned by Padmanabha for the past 12 years and worked as a school teacher.
On his last birthday, Padmanabha gave him a gift package.
He thought it was a normal gift, but was surprised to find lingerie items.
Padmanabha allegedly began to demand that he went with him and also wore the items he gave him and showed the same thing to him.
He allegedly started asking him for sexual assistance by telephone.
When the woman refused, the defendant directed him to empty the house.
“On the night of January 11, he jumped the main gate and locked my house from the outside,” he thought.
The woman decided to file a complaint and approached Hanumanthnagar police on January 12.
The police have taken cases against Padmanabha under the IPC 441 section (criminal violations), 504 (intentional insults with the intention to provoke peace violations) and 354a (1) II) to demand or ask for sexual assistance.
The police called Padmanabha to be questioned in this case.
The landlord was reportedly claiming innocent and accused the teacher has filed a fake case against him when he asked him to empty the house.
Introduction Investigation revealed that there was a dispute between the woman and was accused of emptying the house.
Probe also revealed Padmanabha did lock her house on January 11, when she was sleeping.
“We are investigating allegations of gifts and sexual harassment.
If the accusation is proven, we will take action against the suspect,” said a police officer.
