Bengaluru: The city-based NGO will launch a campaign to reduce the horn in Bengaluru.
The first campaign of the conscious campaign, # Bengaluru100kmsnohonkingchallenge, will see the participation of residents from 9am to 11 in the morning at GPO Junction near Vidhana Soudha on September 29.
They will stand on the path with placards in their irresponsible hands, which include the use of sticky, hard, multi-tone horns and unnecessary and repeated horns.
“HUD is near educational institutions and hospitals at any time, and also residential areas at night, are prohibited.
Unfortunately, most of us ring view of feathers indiscriminately without bothering about the dangers we caused,” said Rajkumar Dugar, founder of citizens 4 (C4C), say.
C4C has urged people to take challenges.
“People must firmly decide not to use horns at all, for the sustainable distance of 100 km in Bengaluru, regardless of the days.
If anything explodes for any reason, he must restart the count of 100 km from zero.
Must be honest with themselves.
After the 100km no-horn challenge is complete, a driver will be motivated to continue the new driving habit, “he said.
“The cumulative effect of honking indiscriminately about 1 Crore vehicle in Bengaluru can destroy.
Honking is a responsible action and must be violated to save yourself or someone else around us …” he added.
