Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government has sealed Nursing College in Horamavu, Bengaluru where 34 cases of Covid infection were reported.
The decision was taken to do a covid test for people living in the surrounding area.
After the Nursing College at KGF was found with a positive Covid case, Christian Nursing College in Horamavu reported 34 cases of infection.
Universities have been ordered to be alert to students who returned from other states, said Minister of Health and Medical K.

Samples will also be sent for genome sequencing, said Minister.
Infected students have shifted to the Covid treatment center for isolation.
College will be closed for 7-8 days and then testing will be done again.
This area has been declared as a micro detention zone and 700-800 residents around the college will be tested as precautions, the Minister said.
Kerala still witnesses a high number of cases.
Therefore, we have issued separate guidelines for border districts.
Students from Kerala must have a negative RT-PCR test report and must receive vaccines.
School and college management must verify this strictly, the Minister added.
The Ganesha festival is a very sensitive and emotional problem.
But we must not forget that Covid came out of control in Kerala because of Onam and Muharram.
We try to avoid such a situation in Karnataka.
The government will make the right decision given all aspects, said Sudhakar.

The government has taken responsibility as many parents.
We have also taken steps for strict supervision at the bus and train station,” he said.
