New Delhi: Four Lok Sabha MPS First of West Bengal – Shantanu Thakur, John Barla, Nishith Pramanik and Subhash Sarkarwere were appointed to the ministerial union council on Wednesday, a step that showed that BJP did not lose focus on the state after the Trinamool Banerjee Congress Mamata Back in power for the third consecutive term.
Two ministers in the state – Babul Supriyo and Debasri Chaudhury – dropped in Rejig.
BJP seems interested in the building at the strength of 77 assembly seats won for the first time in the state, with the selection of the visible Sabha 2024 lok.
The four ministers have been carefully chosen from the area where the party has a good presence like in North Bengal or where it can increase its current strength.
It has chosen Thakur from the Matua Community, Sarkar from Bankura (expensive Jangal), Nishith Pramanik (35 years old) who represented the Rajbonshi community from Cooch Behar and John Barla representing Tea Garden workers from Alipurduar.
The political circle is still guessing whether Induction Barla follows a recent demand for Alipuarduar MP for a separate trade union area for North Bengal.
Bankura MP Sarkar’s Jangal Mahal Region is the BJP place successfully in 2019, but loss of land in the assembly poll of 2021.
The Thakur induction was seen as an attempt to restore the second largest SC community (Matua) in the state, which affected at least five seats in South Bengal , Voting patterns in assembly selection show that the matuas did not choose en BLOC for any party and their voices were divided between TMC and BJP.
