One can install a maximum 10 KWP panel on the roof.
Ideally, the panel of 1 KWP occupies 110 square feet, said an official.
Panels are supplied by official agents returned by the government.
For 1 KWP, the actual cost is Rs 46,000, but subsidies of 40% reduce up to RS 27,600, all including GST, installation and maintenance of a comprehensive 5 years, said an official.
