Mumbai: Life Insurance Corporation of India has introduced the ‘Dhan Rekha’ plan with special rates for women and guaranteed benefits.
The benefits include periodic returns of insured bases plus all guaranteed quantities at maturity.
The corporation has said that this policy is also allowed for the third gender.
This policy is an individual savings plan that does not participate and not related, which allows corporations to offer guaranteed benefits.

Life Cover is 125% of the base amount insured for a single premium policy while for limited period premium payments, the cover is 125% of the amount guaranteed or seven annual premiums, which is higher.

The minimum amount guaranteed below this plan is Rs 2 Lakh and without limits for the maximum range.
The minimum age when entering ranges from 90 days to 8 years according to the selected policy term.
The maximum age when entering ranges from 35 years to 55 years.
