HYDERABAD: Telangana state labor ministry Ch Malla Reddy’s younger brother has been detained by authorities for indulging in gaming in their home in Bowenpally on Wednesday.
Aside from the gaming action, the accused was charged using Epidemic Diseases Act and Disaster Management Act.
Acting on specific information which a bunch of individuals were indulging in 3 cards gaming at a personal land close to Malla Reddy Gardens at Bowenpally, Task force sleuths raided the area on Wednesday afternoon.
We found 13 men sitting at a room from the private property and indulging in gaming, Task drive Agency K Nageshwar Rao explained.
Cops gained Rs 1.4 lakh money and detained the 13 accused like the Union’s brother, Ch Narasimha Reddy, 66, an entrepreneur.
The accused together with the captured material were passed over to Bowenpally authorities for additional investigation.
“We’ve filed a case under sections 5, 3 of TS Gambling Act, division of Epidemic Diseases Act and department 51-B of the Disaster Management Act from the 13 inmates and detained them.
The accused had been released on station bond,” Bowenpally Agency K Ravi Kumar explained.
