Beware of terror in the celebration season: Wb to the police

Kolkata: The country’s internal security wings have suggested maximum vigilance during the Puja Durga and Dussehra / Dashami, given the warning terror that applies in this country.
It was released at the end of Thursday, missions issued by the Special Secretary of the State House Department were sent to all Senior State IPS officers, including police commissioners in Bengal, DMS and for SPS, sounding a warning.
The notification also mentioned that all idols must be completed between October 15 (Dashami) and 18, consulting with the local police station.
“In the context of the threat that applies from divisive and terrorist groups to disrupt the country and to create legal and order problems, you are advised to carry out maximum vigilance during the festival celebration,” the statement reads.
Further suggested, “Puja Community Panitersers must be asked to involve the amount of adequate volunteers in Puja Pandal to maintain changes in suspicious people’s movements and all volunteers must be directed to keep in touch with the local police.” The direction further advised the police to install CCTV cameras and watch towers near the Puja Big Pandal and urged the authorities to take all possible steps to keep harmony together.
“Special attention must be paid to the area with a mixed population, thick places, isolated places and vulnerable and sensitive places,” the message emphasized.
The notification determines the dyeing date too.
“The Pujas Community Organizers must be advised to improve the date and time of soaking procession in consultation with local police stations and idol immersion to be carried out on October 15, 16, 17 and 18 only,” stress messages.
The government wants to ensure dyeing is completed before October 20, which is the Puja Lakhsmi, and October 19, Fateha-e-Yazdaham.
Advisors from the home department also asked the police to ensure the celebration did not disturb the residents of the regions or those from other communities, and warn against the use of microphones outside the permitted decibel limits and certain times.
The direction ended by asking senior police officers to remind Nabanna about unwanted incidents.
