New Delhi: The Indian Boxing Federation (BFI) has suspended his former general secretary and President of Maharashtra Jay Kowli’s country after the disciplinary committee decided that he had failed to do his job in the current role.
Kowli, who is also a referee / judge, has been “prohibited from all boxing related activities in India and abroad due to the termination of the task”, the Top Federation said to PTI.
The decision was taken at the BFI Executive Committee meeting held on January 10.
The Boxer-Turn-Administrator administrator did not immediately respond to the call for his comments on this issue.
“There were several incidents in the past involving it and now when the report was searched from him in the Maharashtra body function, which was a routine problem, he failed to do it,” said the source.
“So, the BFI Discipline Committee recommends that he suspended sports until he can provide a reasonable explanation for his actions.
If he does that, the decision can be questioned,” he added.
Kowli has run boxes in the national federation.
He served as Secretary General under two President – Boxing Boxing Sandeep Jajodia in 2015 and Indian Ajay Singh-LED Boxing Federation from 2016 to 2021.
He has a fall with both differences related to the government.
Last year, after breaking away from the Singh-LED group before the election, he lost the election of the Secretary General.
The Uttar Pradesh State Association was ordered to place a house in sequence: Uttar Pradesh BFI unit will hold elections in recent weeks but have not been able to complete the process.
The National Agency has now told this unit to hold the earliest annual general meeting and ensure the selection is carried out.
“They have been told to get their actions together.
These problems should not need EC intervention,” said the source.
