On August 26, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) issued a notification on BH-services which came into force on September 15.
BH-series mainly to facilitate smooth vehicle transfers moving from one state to another country.
This is also considered a preliminary step towards the ‘one nation, one motor vehicle tax.
Countries / UTS like Odisha, Maharashtra and Chandigarh have applied them.
