New Delhi: Indian Paralympic Committee (PCI) has recommended the names of Manish Narwal shooters, Jumper High Sharad Kumar, Shuttler Pramod Bhagat and Javelin-Thrower Sundar Singh Gurjar for Major Dhyan Chand Ratna Award 2021.
The fourth brought victory for India on Tokyo’s paralympics Recently it was concluded.

Deepa further informs that the name Javelin-Thrower Sumit Antil and Shooter Avani Lekhara has been recommended for Arjuna Award.
“Antile well and Avani Lekhara will go for the Arjuna award this time, they both have made the nation proud of their medals,” he said.
Last month, the Teenal Union Minister and Anurag Sports Thakur said the winner of the medal in Tokyo Paralimpics would also be valued at the national sports award this year and therefore the ceremony was postponed.
