Jhansi: Rashtriya SwayamSevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak, Mohan Bhagwat, reached the city of Chitrakoot Temple on Tuesday on a week’s way to attend the RSS National Meeting starting on Thursday.
The meeting will join Senior Sangh leaders, who are also expected to reach Chitrakoot immediately.
In addition, the meeting will join virtually by 300 regional heads due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The meeting was considered important in the view of Vidhan Sabha’s election next year.
Bhagwat reached Chirakoot by train from Delhi and went straight to the conference venue in Arogyadham at the Deendayal Research Center, where he would stay until July 13.
The five-day meeting is scheduled to start from Thursday.
Virtual meetings are also scheduled for 10 and 11 where Bhagwat will meet with the regional head.
During the day, Bhagwat went to RSS Shakha and attended the trial.
He also met some fortifications and bathed in the River Mandakini.
