Bharat Bandh: Farmers, Members of Trade Union Stage Protest

Coimbatore: Hundreds of farmers and various union members surrounded Junction Railway Coimbatore as part of ‘Bharat Bandh’ on Monday, demanding the United States to attract three new agricultural laws.
City police detained 480 protesters, which were then released.
The joint action committee of all trade unions and several farmer associations from Coimbatore held a demonstration at Junction Railway Coimbatore.
480 protesters gathered in front of the crossroads, where more than 100 police personnel were deployed.
Protesters managed to reach the entrance to the crossroads and caused slogans to the Government Government to implement three new agricultural laws.

As as many as 63 members of the Indian Social Democratic Party (SDPI) blocked the road at City Hall to condemn the Government of the Union Members of Manithaneya Jananayaka Katchi protested in Ukkadam.
Thousands of autorickshaws are not operated from 6am to 6pm as part of the bandh in Coimbatore Regency.
Tirupur police arrested around 300 members of the Culu, Aitac, Intuc and LPF to hold a demonstration in front of the Tirupur train station.
They tried to get into the train station.
However, Tirupur City Police blocked them.
