Gurgaon: Hundreds of hectares of major farms have been converted to illegal colonies in Sohna, Farukhnagar, Bhondsi and Patudi last year and half.
The city and country departments (DTCP) have released around 1,000 hectares of land in and around Gurgaon last year but still some such colonies exist in these areas, many of which have emerged again after being destroyed by the department.
