Hyderabad: Dear Director and Director of RCI BHVS Narayana Murthy has been appointed as Director General, Missile and Strategic System, Drdo, Hyderabad.
Murthy managed MSR Prasad who retired at retirement on July 31.
Bhvs Narayana Murthy is a famous and famous defense scientist because of its R & D in custom design & development of Advionics Advanced technology for defense and aerospace applications in India.
As Director Director and Program, he pioneered the Imarry Research Center (RCI), an avionics laboratory from the missile complex of Dr.
APJ Abdul Kalam directed the design, development and delivery of avionics and various kinds of weapons systems.
Murthy graduated in the field of electronics and communication techniques from Rec, Warangal, completed his MTech from Jntu, Hyderabad and accepted PhD in computer science from IIIit, Hyderabad.
He joined Drdo in 1986.
Murthy is the main architect of the Advanced Technology onboard Computer (OBC) for missile systems and other defense applications.
Sustainable contributions and technological leadership for the past three decades have been transformative to make India Mandiri in real-time advanced real-handed computers, the computing system of missions and other avionics technology, the Defense Ministry said.
He leads the design and development of advanced avionics for “Mission Shakti,” the first anti-satellite missile test (A-SAT) and AGNI 5 distance missiles, elevating India into the league of certain countries and strengthening customary defense capabilities.
He plays an important role in the development and demonstration of the avionics system for BVRAAM Astra, QRSAM, AKASH 1S, AKASH NG, HSTDV, Ngak, Long Term, Brahmos, ATGM NAG, Helina, MPAATGM, Sant, BMD, both AGNI missile and system series Other guide weapons.
As a project director, he leads the conceptualization, design, and development of Smart Anti-Airfield Weapon (SaAW) and puts the foundation for a long-term smart guide system with precision strike capabilities.
As a computer specialist and the onboard technology director Dr Murthy contributed significantly in conceptualization, planning, design, development of advanced real-time computer technology for various missiles, fighter aircraft, and for other strategic applications.
He recruited the development & production of a single chip computer mission – the system on the chip, and an integrated avionic module (IAM) brought a quantum leap in onboard avionics miniaturization for mini smart weapons systems in futuristic.
The contribution of the R & D has a big impact on critical aerospace and missionary technology.
For his honorable contribution, he was given the honor of the Indian computer community, elected as the Indonesian National Engineering Academic colleague (INAE) and Indian social and engineering society.
Other prestigious awards given to Murthy include Rocket and Technologies related to Award by the Astronautical Society of India, Agni Award for Excellence In-Reliance, Drdo Scientist of the Year Award, Path Breaking Research / Outstanding Technology Excellence Award.
