Varanasi: For the first time, Hindu will be taught as a subject at the University of Banaras Hindu (BHU) and students will learn knowledge, tradition, art, science, and ancient skills under this course.
The University began a Hindu course for two years with 40 seats and forms will be accepted until September 7.
The entrance exam will be held on October 3 to choose students for courses.
Deputy loss of Chancellor Bhu Vijay Kumar Shukla said, “This will be the first Hindu program to go in our country.
Previously, only a diploma course running at Himachal University.
We teach other cultures, traditions such as Christianity, Islam, while Hinduism is not on streamlines” .

He said smart classes will be held for students in universities and students from other countries can also be part of the course.
He said a large number of applications from foreign students showed the interests of other countries in Hinduism.
This course will be carried out by the philosophy department that will explain the Hindu, ambition and outline of Hinduism while the ancient historical and cultural departments will describe the ancient evidence of ancient trade activities, architecture, weapons, tools used by the Indian emperor large.
The Sanskrit department will discuss the practical aspects of the Scriptures, Vedas and ancient records through spells.
Students will enrich themselves with knowledge of ancient war crafts, Hindu chemistry, military science, art, classical music, etc., he added.
