Bhu Vice-Chancellor visited the South Barkachha campus

Varanasi: Universitas Banaras Hindu Deputy Chancellor Sudhir K Jain visited South Campus Barkachha in Mirzapur on Sunday and took stock of various activities and development programs there.
It was Prof Jain’s first visit to the South campus because he took the office.
During his visit, he said that BHU had to be proactive in playing his social part and underlining the need to focus on the development of skills and capacity building courses for the local population, especially rural populations.
VC was accompanied by the Chancellor Prof.
V K Shukla, who was responsible for the South Campus Prof.
V K Mishra and Otersthe VC interacting with faculty members and South Campus staff.
Prof.
Mishra told VC that the campus meets the water requirements by using rainwater harvesting and adding that the campus plans to plant lemon grass and medicinal plants that can generate income.
