The police connected large enforcement for covid outbreaks.
“We made law enforcement against drunks in public places in January, February and March last year and were collected around Rs 10 Lakh fine.
But enforcement was stopped because of the Covid outbreak.
Our focus is to enforce the appropriate Covid behavior,” a police officer , “A police officer,” a police officer said.
Police said their enforcement collected this year’s move as a result of the number of violators who had increased compared to the previous year.
All police stations were asked to intensify patrol after night.
Police said residents can remind them of people who consume alcohol in public places and create interference.
“We did not claim that people, who had previously consumed alcohol in public places, had stopped drinking.
They might have changed their location.
We urged people to tell the police if they wear drinks in public places,” police said that.
The police said many people avoided the bar because they could not afford it.
“They prefer to buy liquor from the outlet and choose isolated places to drink with friends.
We caught most of the children near the park, behind the betel shops and the houses left behind,” the officer said .
