BHubaneswar: BMC allows Puja Ganesh in the city without public participation

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has published a guideline for the celebration of Puja Ganesh on September 10.
This has enabled celebrations in the city without public participation.
According to the guidelines, the trial on the occasion of Puja Ganesh will not be permitted in public in BMC’s jurisdiction.
The committee or committee can do Puja Ganesh in the mandap by adopting all Covid-19 norms such as keeping social, wearing masks and sanitation.
For this, they need to take permission from the officers authorized by the police commissioner.
“Puja will be carried out in conditions such as indoors only for ritual obedience without public participation, splendor and majesty,” said Civic body guidelines.
Furthermore, it states that the mandap must be covered on three sides and one side is only opened for the entry of the priest for the ritual.
Even the fourth side must be properly covered so that the public cannot see idols, BMC said.
BMC has clear instructions that the idol size must be less than four feet and the public address system will not be used during puja or other time that day.
At any point in time, more than seven people, including pastors / organizers / karta / support staff, will not be permitted for puja mandap.
People who will continue to attend the mandap need to follow the appropriate Covid-19 behavior.
People who are fully vaccinated will be permitted for compliance with puja.
The organizer cannot hold the procession this time.
Idol will set in the artificial pool made by BMC, the word guidelines.
Maximum 20 participants can be permitted in educational institutions or training institutions.
The participants must maintain a six-foot social distance in the puja or space.
Party or Prasad Sevan will not be allowed for all types of Puja accounts.
“The Head of the Institute must ensure that those over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated to attend that occasion,” BMC guidelines said.
Many institutes and organizations will observe Puja Ganesh in the midst of this Covid-19 limit.
